Tan joined VN Counsel as an Associate in late 2024. He brings with him nearly seven years of legal practice experience, including four years serving as an in-house counsel for a prominent domestic enterprise. His practice covers a broad range of legal areas, with a particular focus on corporate governance, foreign and domestic investment, labor and employment, commercial contracts, and general corporate advisory.

Throughout his career, Tan has advised on various complex legal matters involving both local and international clients, ranging from day-to-day operational issues to strategic legal planning. His in-house experience has equipped him with a strong commercial mindset and a practical approach to legal problem-solving, enabling him to offer solutions that are both legally sound and commercially viable.

Tan regularly supports clients in reviewing and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, internal corporate documents, and compliance policies. He is also experienced in assisting with licensing procedures, labor compliance matters, and internal investigations. In particular, he has advised stakeholders on navigating regulatory frameworks, managing legal risks, and aligning their business practices with Vietnam’s evolving legal landscape.

His ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients across various industries has earned him the trust of both management teams and external counsel partners.

• Assisted in conducting legal due deligence for conditions precedent for payment in accordance with the executed Share Purchase Agreement of the developer of a industrial cluster in Phu Tho Province;

• Assisted in conducting legal due deligence for transfer of the entire capital contribution in the company operating the business activity of water exploitation in Phu Tho Province;

• Assisted in delivering legal insights to consult clients in compliance matters related to operations, developments, litigations, risk management, and labor issues;

• Assisted in drafting and reviewing of various commercial agreements as requested from time to time by the clients.
